about the painter

Revan Karaca is an artist based in Leipzig, a city shaped by its complex political history and a vibrant contemporary art scene.

As a first-generation Turkish-German, she grew up navigating questions of identity and belonging while confronting structural discrimination. These formative experiences profoundly shaped her perspective and continue to inform her engagement with political and social realities.

Through her work, Karaca initiates dialogue around power structures, sociocultural tensions, and the silenced responsibilities embedded within the systems in our world.
